I am currently a performer at the cartoon network hotel and Hershey park.

What classes do you take a studio spin and when did you start?
I take Mix Level Pole on Wednesdays, Lyra twice a week , and a lot of open aerial time to work on silks! I started taking classes at studio spin June of 2017.

What do you like about your classes?
I love coming to class every week, surrounded by others that share the same passions as I do, studio spin is my happy place its where I can let go of everything and just fly. has aerials changed my life?, yes aerials has changed my life, after high school I always wanted to try aerials as I was a dancer and a gymnast. I started taking classes at studio spin 3 1/2 years ago and fell in love with the art, so much that I am currently working towards a career as an aerialist.

What is your current favorite move?
On Lyra, I would say my favorite skill right now is a single elbow hang holding a straddle but it might change by next week as I love anything that shows off my flexibility!

What is your favorite kind of music to dance to? Do you have a favorite song?
I love to perform to lyrical music – something that tells a story and gives you all the feels, if I had to pick an anthem song it would have to be- fight song by Rachel Platten

Are there any books and/or movies you recommend?
Favorite movie- The Greatest Showman its a good pick me up movie that celebrates life and everyone’s differences. Favorite book- the Pilates Body- this book takes you step by step though hundreds of Pilates exercises from beginner to advanced. it really made a difference in my life and helped me over come a back injury when I was in high school.

Who’s your favorite pole dancer/aerialist/dancer that you enjoy following on social media?
I absolutely love -Laura Dasi- she is a aerial silk and lyra artist who was a professional ballet dancer before she became a aerialist. Jill Franklin from – Aerial Physique. And Womack and bowman – from Womack and bowman the loft.

What is the coolest thing you have done in your life? Or coolest place that you traveled to?
I would defiantly say that one of the coolest thing in my life so far would be working for Disney Cruise Line for the past 5 years. I was able to perform in many shows around the ship and in several Broadway style main stage shows. Because of Disney cruise line, I have lived in Canada for many months, lived on 3 different cruise ships, and traveled the Bahamas, eastern and western Caribbean, Spain, Portugal, France, and Italy.

Favorite food?
My favorite meal would have to be a turkey sandwich with avocado and a blueberry banana smoothie.

Is there any place in Lancaster that you recommend going to?
Rachel’s Creperie on Walnut Street. It’s so delicious!

Do you have any advice for newbies just starting out?
Don’t give up after the first few classes if it seems really hard. Keep coming to classes and you might surprise yourself how much you learned in a short amount of time.
