Admin support & dispatcher at Lancaster County   9-1-1 center.
 
What classes are you currently taking at Studio Spin and when did you start?
Mostly pole and Lyra. But also like silks, chair and flexibility classes.
Started August of 2017 at Studio Spin which followed 4 years at Ponytails Fitness which was primarily pole classes.
 
What do you like about your classes? 
They are fun but challenging. Always new things to learn. Everyone is supportive and encouraging
I’m stronger now both physically and emotionally.
 
What is your current favorite move/trick?
My all time favorite pole move is the Teddy Bear hold. But I like any that make a pretty or cool pic! 😀
 
What is your current nemesis trick?
There are several but the main one would be Iron X. Some day it will happen!! 😆
 
What is your favorite kind of music to dance to? Do you have a favorite song?
 I love so many genres it’s tough to name a favorite.
 
Do you have a guilty pleasure?
That would probably be chocolate haha.
 
Are there any books and/or movies you recommend?
I don’t get a chance to read very often but I like John Grisham or James Patterson books.
I saw Star Wars Rise of Skywalker-loved it!
 
Who’s your favorite person that you enjoy following on social media?
 I follow a number of artists but 2 favorites would be Heidi Coker and Colleen Jolly.
 
What is the coolest thing you have done in your life? And the coolest place that you traveled to?
Being a mom, firefighter, EMT and aerialist would top the list of cool things. 😊
Coolest places were the Grand Canyon, Zion National park and Bryce canyons
 
Favorite food?
Steak, bacon and cheesecake!
 
Is there any place in Lancaster that you recommend going to? 
Fox Meadows Creamery, Funcks in Leola, Divine Swine.
Lititz–lots of cool shops & eateries
PA renaissance faire
 
Do you have any advice for newbies just starting out?
Don’t worry about not having strength, it will come in time with consistency. Be patient and trust the process. Don’t give up, everyone progresses at different rates. There’s always new stuff to learn. Enjoy the journey and make some great friendships along the way.

Intro to Pole Intensive

Curated for the absolute beginner, this thoughtful 2 1/2 hour intensive is so much more than an introduction to pole dance. It’s also an introduction to our studio culture, values and community of dancers. We approach pole dance as a means to discover your authentic self and to enjoy and appreciate your body. We want you to feel stronger, confident and daring not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well.

Get ready to not only learn some exciting pole moves, but also learn something new about yourself!
